The Northwest’s first Sixes Style lacrosse tournament is here, and it’s unlike anything you’ve seen before, and it is being hosted by both the North Creek and Lake Washington Lacrosse clubs with the PLL academy.

The Sixes Showdown brings together the best of both worlds: the awareness and strategy of outdoor lacrosse combined with the lightning-fast pace of Sixes.

Event Details:

• Dates: September 7th and 8th, 2024
• Location: North Creek Sports Fields, Bothell WA
• Divisions:
  • Boys and Girls divisions
  • Teams at the 5/6, 7/8, and 9/10 levels
  • Community Teams Only

What to Expect:

• Guaranteed Games: Each team will play at least 3 games in a tournament championship format.
• Sixes Format: Games will follow the Sixes field format. Picture 4x8 minute running quarters on a central horn, with five field players (no specialty players) and one goalie. Draws/face-offs occur only at the start of each half, and we’ll use the US Olympics Sixes shortened field dimensions. Goalies initiate play after goals, and substitutions happen on the fly.
• Shot Clock: Get ready for a 30-second shot clock at the start of each possession.
• Excitement: The Sixes Showdown promises high-energy lacrosse action and a chance to showcase your skills.
